Ive put together some resources to help you get your animation unit finished as soon as possible, and also to make sure that you can get the grades that you deserve.

Just underneath this text is a little checklist that ive put together from the exam boards specification. I advise you to look at it and print your own version off to put into the front of your sketchbooks. If you work through and tick off the boxes you will certainly pass. If you tick the boxes and read into the merit and distinction sections to see what else you need to do then you can begin to start lining yourself up for Merits and distinctions.


Ive put together some examples of the kind of things that you need to produce for this unit in terms of artwork. you will find character profile examples and also some storyboard examples.


Its vital that you look at these and use them as a jumping of point to develop your own ideas. Don't copy, instead be inspired and develop your own personal responses based on these and any other examples you can find.

make sure anything that influences you gets put in your sketchbook with a written explanation of how it has influenced your work. Merit and distinction candidates will actually clearly show through sketching how resources have impacted on their design work.
